So you are thinking about booking your first boudoir session in Northern Colorado — or maybe
you already have and now the nerves are setting in. Either way, welcome. This is normal.
Almost every woman who has ever sat in my studio felt exactly what you are feeling right now.
The questions pile up fast: What do I bring? What do I do with my body? What if I am awkward?
What if I hate the photos? What if this was a huge mistake?
This guide is the answer to all of it. By the time you finish reading, you will know exactly what to
do, what to expect, and why you are more ready than you think.

The Week Before: Take Care of Your Skin

Skin prep is one of the easiest things you can do to set yourself up for stunning photos — and it
does not require a single expensive product.
Start moisturizing daily in the week leading up to your boudoir session in Loveland, CO.
Hydrated skin catches light differently than dry skin, and that difference is visible in photos.
Exfoliate two to three days before your session — not the night before, which can leave skin
sensitive or irritated.
If you shave or wax, give yourself at least 24 hours before your session so your skin has time to
calm down. Drink water — more than you think you need. Sleep. These are the unsexy, honest
answers that actually make a difference.
Skip the spray tan the night before. If you are doing a self-tan, apply it four to five days out and
let it fully develop and settle. Fresh tans can transfer on lighter fabrics and look uneven under
studio lighting.

Building Your Outfit Lineup

The BB Boudoir signature session in Loveland, CO includes up to five outfit changes, so bring
three to five options. You do not need all five to be perfect — you need a range.
Think about variety: one classic and simple, one that feels more daring, one that is deeply
personal to you (something your partner loves, something you wore on a meaningful occasion,
something that just makes you feel like yourself), and one wild card you almost did not pack.
That last one will surprise you.
Fit matters more than style. Anything that digs in, shifts constantly, or requires adjusting will
distract you during the session and show up in photos. If it is comfortable and you feel good in it,
that is your answer.
Heels are optional but worth bringing if you own them. Jewelry, scarves, robes, and accessories
are all welcome — bring what you have and we will decide together what works.

The Day Before: Set Yourself Up

Pack your bag the night before so you are not scrambling the morning of. Lay out your outfits,
your shoes, your accessories. Give yourself one less thing to think about.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing the morning of your session — nothing with tight waistbands or
elastic that will leave marks on your skin. Give yourself time to arrive without rushing. Rushing
creates tension in your body and your face, and it takes a few minutes to shake off.

If you are adding professional hair and makeup through the full experience package, your
appointment will be factored into your session timeline. You will arrive, get styled, and walk
straight into the shoot feeling polished and ready.

The Morning of: Just Show Up

Eat a real meal. Your body needs fuel and low blood sugar will make everything feel harder than
it is. Drink coffee if that is your thing. Put on a playlist you love on the drive over. Do one thing
that makes you feel good before you walk in — not because you need to perform happiness, but
because you deserve to arrive in your own energy.
And then: trust the process. This is the single most important thing I can tell you. The women
who have the best sessions at BB Boudoir are not the ones who arrived the most confident.
They are the ones who arrived the most willing. Willing to be guided, willing to try things that feel
unfamiliar, willing to be surprised by themselves.
You do not have to walk in confident. You just have to walk in.

What Happens During Your Session

From the moment you arrive, every detail is handled. We start by going through what you
brought, making a plan for the session, and turning the music up. The Loveland, CO studio is
private — no one else is there except us. Natural light fills the space. The environment is calm,
not performative.
I will guide you through every pose, every angle, every transition between outfits. You will never
be left wondering what to do. Some poses will feel strange in your body and look incredible on
camera — that disconnect is normal and it is part of how this works. Trust what I see through the
lens.

After Your Session: Your Gallery

After your session, you will receive a private online viewing gallery where you can see your
images and choose which ones you want to keep. Your 20 digital downloads are included in the
signature session. Additional images are available if you want more.
Nothing is ever posted anywhere without your explicit permission. Your gallery is private, your
images are yours, and every decision about what happens with them belongs entirely to you.
